Last night, I was interviewed by Dr. Arya Sharma, Scientific Director of Obesity Canada, about obesity and COVID-19. We discussed a number of issues including:
- obesity as a risk factor for more severe COVID-19 infection
- staying safe during the coronavirus pandemic
- important safety measures for people with diabetes
- why physical isolation put us at risk of weight gain, and strategies to manage this (more on this to follow in upcoming blog posts!)
