In the last few weeks, I have seen so many ‘words of wisdom’ on social media, websites, and advertisements, about how ‘best’ to manage weight during the holiday season. Many of these are giving advice that is often not scientifically sound, sometimes rather militant (especially as regards exercise), and often, downright unkind.
Thus, this holiday season, I bring you a few very simple tips:
Be good to yourself.
Choose self love over self judgement.
Remember, we have to take best care of ourselves, in order to take care of the people around us.
